G'day Tachry, Welcome to Linux.org
What we need to know is....what will you run Linux on ? if a laptop, make and model and ram and hdd etc
If a desktop, similar info.....ram, hdd or ssd size etc
The most straightforward distro to use is Linux Mint. (version 21.3)
You can get a taste of Mint by booting your pc to a 'bootable' thumb drive,,,,,,it will run quite happily....and it does not matter if you 'break it'....because it is not a permanent install....it will not do any damage to your pc in any way. Pull the usb stick out and reboot it and away you go again.
Nothing to lose and everything to gain.
More about that later
