I would advocate for your going to Laptop/Netbooks here

and starting your own Thread, so it establishes your "identity" to be answered to directly rather than here where an amount of content is Off Topic by circumstances that arose.
There, near top right "Post Thread" will get you started, and title it something like
"Need lightweight distro suitable for old RCA tablet".
We are somewhat light-on in tablet experience, but good luck.
