Hi
I have been using Linux for a few months. (Using my PC for some office work, internet, light gaming)
I have tried Linux Mint and Manjaro (Gnome 40)
The problem is the Graphics card (I think) After installing Nvidia drivers in Linux Mint I had black screen for a minute after reboot.
Manjaro stoped working after an update (I might try OpenSuse Tumbleweed or Fedora 35)
I am thinking to change my graphics card to AMD. Is AMD card a better graphics card for Linux??? Would AMD graphics card eliminate the graphics problems in general??? I just want to use my PC not keep fixing it.
Would one of these cards be a good choice? "AMD HD 7750, 7770 or HD 7790 " (I don't need an expensive card)
Thank you.
My spec:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI
CPU: Intel i5 3570
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
16GB DDR3 Ram (Samsung SSD)
