I finally went back to Fedora Workstation (from Silverblue) due to some problems with docker (where I went back trying to solve my issues with podman) and then with minikube, that were causing so many friction to consider it a sustainable option. However, if my computer usage was entirely household / domestic, I would use it no doubt.
I would like to thank a user, whom has asked to remain anonymous, for explaining the word "many" to me. It means a lot!
Oh, Java doesn't support Wayland natively. Java IDE that are not written in Java, anyone?
I don't get why someone would get into a thread on a forum to post a bunch of off-topics and then, when called off, say it's a stupid thread. Bananas.

Another self-important snowflake who was thrown into the real world completely unprepared and is now utterly incapable of comprehending why the world isn't ordered to their expectations.

That was like when you're in a dress-up party and someone interrupts it to tell you the whole story of the Roman Empire when they see you dressed up like a Roman. And when the host tells them, "hey, this is a party and not History college, chill out", then they're like "OH MY GOD I AM LEAVING WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. STUPID DRESS-UP PARTEH"
Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation toward the local swimming pool. I gave him a glass of water.
Hey everybody, I'm recommending these forums around, and in the Framework community discourse in particular. Suit up!

Just had a look at one question in their forums, about Debian and a realtek wi-fi, it has been going for a few months now, [last post yesterday] so far no one has pointed them to the latest Linux drivers on guilt hub

I didn't come across it so far, but I'll have a look soon.
I'm going to get a Framework laptop shipped soon! Fedora Silverblue is going to be this time.

I was thinking of getting one myself, but they didn't have all of the parts available the last time I was on their site (which was maybe 3 months ago). Has that changed?

I just got one pre-ordered when they did their last event, by end of March. I'm in Batch 1 for the 3rd Gen with Intel 13th. That night / morning they had everything available.

When I finally have a new job, I'll look into getting one then. The laptop I'm using now is like a beater car. It may not be in the best or newest condition, but it at least works.
Vaniljekaffe det har jeg aldrig prøvet ! måske var det en ide´ men jeg holder mig til en go hjemmebrygget kop kaffe.

I've been exploring EasyOS on my laptop the past week and you know what? It's awsome. Will keep Parrot Home on my workstation, tho. I meant to have a secure laptop OS for a while and ran Puppies on it. Then I found Puli but I can't be bothered by it's (unnecessary) complexity and EasyOS does all the things I was looking for.

At the end of the day, it really makes no difference WHAT you run. As long as you're comfortable with it, and can do everything you need to while running it, it's no business of anybody else's what you get up to.

So long as you're happy, that's all that really matters.
Ok so my long time boyfriend just passed away 2 weeks ago and I have his phone he has a pattern lock on it but I don't know what it is. His family wants to see if he has any pictures on it. Since we don't have access to his Google account or any other account. How can I bypass his pattern lock on his samsung a03s phone without losing data or rooting his phone. I'm not sure if he enabled usb debugging.
Dear Tuxbot,
Can you tell me about Snort (an intrusion detection system). After setting up Snort I am worried my device will run too much traffic. What are the positives and negatives of this type of detection system?
